I have been using the Subversion for a long time with TortoiseSVN Application for Windows as a SVN Client. Lot of Developers started migrating their projects from SVN to Git (a distributed version control ) due to lot of advantages over SVN. Windows developers will embrace the simplicity & speed of the Subversion Client Tortoise SVN. When i tried the Git for the first time, i felt uncomfortable when compared to the tortoiseSVN client. This hesitated to create projects in Git source control. Recently i came across a tool TortoiseGit which simulates the same interface similar to TortoiseSVN and able to talk to .git repositories with simple context menus.
Here the screenshot of the context menu in Windows.
I have installed both SVN and Git Clients. Now, using Git repositories makes me more enjoyable.
