Apple has set a standard to the world of developing high quality apps and it needs high skills and hard efforts to develop an app for ios and to see them in the App Store. There are some common features which one may expect from an ios devices. when these features are missing in the native iOS then third party apps creates to compensate those features, provided that necessary API are exposed by the SDK. But if apple feels that these apps are inconsistent with their standards they will reject these apps or pull off from store if they already got approved and sitting in the store.
Here some of my wishes which apple might consider in the future ios
2.FM Support – Transmitter and Receiver
3.Open File from Native Email Drafts
4.Using Bluetooth without Restriction for Just Audio
5.Running Background Apps for FTP,HTTP Ports.
6.Allowing a Song to be exported to Email or to open from other Apps
7.An Native App which will show all your devices connected to your same network and able to browse through those devices at least the Music Library, Photos and Videos etc
And much more.
Will Apple give ears to users wish list?. Yes they will. But their major concern is not to encourage the violation of DRM ( digital rights management). And if they feel some of the features are outdated then they will not even consider them in their road map. (Apple never releases road map of their products).
FM Radio is one of the mostly used app in Indian market. But apple feels this is outdated as the same radio station can be listened through online Wifi. So, it ignored completely at the hardware level itself.
Just shared some thought being an one of the ios user for the last 4 years.
Hope you enjoyed this post.
